To support World Environment Day, BSSC’s environmental team is running a competition.
We need proactive students to start collecting plastic bottle tops and plastic bread tags.
Store them somewhere safe until the last day of Term 2 (Friday 26 June) and bring them to the Ulumbarra Plaza at recess.
There will be an environmentally sound prize for the person who has collected the most, but all contributions will be donated to provide wheelchairs for people in need.
Did you know it takes around 50kg of plastic bread tags to purchase a standard adult wheelchair?
