Today we welcomed seven exchange students and their teacher Chris Friedel to the college. The students are from Nellenburg Gymnasium in Stockach, Germany and will spend the next month with host families in Bendigo, experiencing all that BSSC and the Bendigo region has to offer.
This week the group will visit the Central Deborah Goldmine for an underground tour and in August will experience the Australian bush with a visit to Melville Caves. BSSC Principal, Dale Pearce, welcomed the students and assured them that the current weather is about as cold as it gets in Bendigo… though our visitors are no strangers to the cold.
The exchange will culminate with a farewell pizza dinner for students and host families on Wednesday 15 August.
