Our students in Saumur, France had a lovely time with their host families, with the school (Institution Saint Louis) organising some great local activities.
Students visited a local winery Bouvet-Ladubay, participated in a traditional ball game called ‘la boule de fort’, had lunch in a traditional crêperie, and visited the nearby city of Angers (Marie Boulanger’s home town) with its castle, cathedral, medieval streets, Christmas market, and art gallery where the girls practiced their drawing skills.
Three students are staying on until mid-January and two returned with Marie on Saturday. They met Kristina Dean and the short-stay German students in Abu Dhabi on their way back. What an amazing adventure it’s been for everyone!
