Despite their graduation being held this evening, BSSC VCAL students spent the morning packing sponsors’ promotional material into bags to be given to participants of this Sunday’s Bendigo Cycling Classic.
The task is the final part of a community project that has been running since the end of last term. As well as practical support—such as distributing road closure signs to affected households and businesses—students have also researched the organisations who will benefit from the funds raised on Sunday: The Otis Foundation and Give Me 5 for Kids.
Those who participate in the Bendigo Cycling Classic will find there is a ride for everyone—from little kids and families right through to the serious lycra-clad cyclist.
And everyone will receive a bag full of goodies thanks to our Senior VCAL students’ efforts.
