Congratulations to the BSSC students who have been selected to receive LaTrobe University Vice Chancellor’s excellence scholarships. The recipients are Ashley Eadon, Rachel Mavromoustakakis, Laura Bailie, Brandon McInnes, Emily Jordan, and Isobel Maybury.
These students will receive $6000 per year for the duration of their course and are also guaranteed a study abroad scholarship to the value of $1500. They have all applied for courses at LaTrobe University Bendigo, and the college wishes them every success in gaining entry to their preferred course.
“Typically, the modern day University student is the master of a very tough juggling act – often balancing the responsibility of a job, paying rent, maintaining a demanding study schedule and other commitments,” La Trobe University Vice-Chancellor, Professor John Dewar said.
“The Excellence Scholarships will help students, who are already showing great potential, to reach even greater heights academically by reducing the financial burden of University by allowing them to focus on their study.”
