VET Business students gained some wonderful first-hand learning today when they met with the Director of Materials at Bendigo Health, Karen Shepherd-Clark.
Karen gave them an insight into the business operations of the hospital linking in with their current business studies.
The students were introduced to staff who hosted Q&A sessions and gave behind-the-scenes access to top of the line business processes. The Automatic Guidance Vehicles (AGV) were particularly interesting as the hospital utilises robotics and automation to improve efficiency.
Another VET Business class will have the same opportunity tomorrow.
