EAL VCAL students had the opportunity to learn about higher education and university life when they visited Bendigo’s La Trobe University campus today.
They spent the morning with current La Trobe students exploring the university campus, considering future career options and pathways, and hearing from current students about their courses and experiences of university.
The asked lots of questions about pathways to university and the costs involved, and enjoyed hearing the career conversations about scholarships and overseas study exchanges.
Many students were able to further refine their goals for the future and a large number left interested in the prospect of higher education. The students thoroughly enjoyed their time on the university campus.
