While most of us had our eyes fixed firmly on the Easter break today, Steve Boyle’s Year 11 Economics students stepped way out of their comfort zones in the boardroom of Commbank Bendigo.
The students gave presentations to their peers and Commbank staff as part of the Partner a Class program. They’ve been working in groups for the past three weeks to create a presentation titled ‘Who is the Commonwealth Bank?’ – covering history, products, capital and funding, and customer service.
Steve Boyle said it was a great opportunity for his students to get away from the textbook and step into the real world of banking and finance.
The students received invaluable feedback on their presentations from bank staff, and all conducted themselves with professionalism and confidence. Well done everyone!
