Cricket – Sandhurst Division competition
Our first sporting competition for 2018 takes place on Monday 19 February with the boys’ cricket team taking to the field in the Sandhurst Division competition. They will be competing against Catherine McAuley College, Castlemaine Secondary College, and Girton Grammar. Best of luck to the team and their coach Duane Anderson.
Team members are Jack Bourke, Riley Burns, Blake Hodgskiss, Nahid Hossain, Kayde Howard, Mitch Kemp, Jarrett Miles, Ryan O’Keefe, Kyal Rasmussen, Jed Rodda, James Schischka, Justin Slater, and Braydon Vaz.
Victorian schools triathlon championships
The Victorian Schools Triathlon Championships will be held at Elwood Beach in Melbourne on Sunday 4 March. There are two distances offered for individuals and teams:
- 200m/10km/2km – Junior, Intermediate and Senior
- 400m/10km/4km – Intermediate and Senior

School Sport Victoria – State team trials
Each year, talented Victorian School students have the opportunity to trial for a place in the School Sport Victoria (SSV) Team Vic State team. Selected students participate in annual School Sport Australia (SSA) Championships including the Pacific School Games (PSG) held every second year. These championships offer gifted and talented students the opportunity to participate in higher levels of sporting competition against students from other Australian States and Territories.
