On Wednesday evening BSSC farewelled 10 German exchange students who’ve been with us at the college for the past month. Staff, students, and host families, shared dinner, traded stories, and even shed a few tears given the close bonds that have been formed within families.
The students gave a presentation about their hometown Stockach, the region around Lake Constance, their school – Nellenburg Gymnasium, and their experiences here in Bendigo.
They will head back to Germany next Tuesday with vastly improved English skills, lasting memories, and many new friends.
