On Monday afternoon, BSSC Chinese language students along with students from Bendigo South East and met online with our sister school, Dongzhou Middle School in Haimen city, China.
The occasion was the opening ceremony of Dongzhou Middle School’s Communication Week with aim being for all three schools to maintain their interaction despite international travel still being restricted.
It featured students from each school showcasing their performing art talents and language skills
SLT President, Ciaran Noble, gave a welcome speech, before a musical performance by Manni Maund (cello) and Ellie Close (Violin) followed by a dramatic scene from the Wizard of Oz performed by Halle Blake-Burrows, Tom Purcell, Brooke Mazey and Jobe Thomson.
