PUPIL FREE DAY – 31st July
Please note that Monday 31st July will be a PUPIL FREE DAY. All staff from BSSC, along with all other Government Secondary Colleges in Bendigo, will be undertaking Day 4 of training in the Berry Street Education Model (BSEM). Through the use of trauma-informed practice principles, our staff will further learn strategies to keep students engaged and how to support them to have an improved capacity for school achievement.
Our students are encouraged to use this day to ensure they are up to date with all work, which can be checked by going to their ‘Learning Tasks’ tab on Compass.
PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS – 3rd August
Our next round of Parent Teacher interviews will be held on Thursday 3rd August and will be conducted remotely, via Webex. Bookings can now be made via Compass. Instructions on how to access Webex and your interview link are attached to this post. If you are unable to access a computer for the interviews, please phone the General Office on 5443 1222 to arrange phone interviews.
