Are you interested in travelling overseas in 2016? BSSC has three amazing cultural opportunities for you, but the time to make a decision is fast approaching. If you’re ready to commit to one of the following trips, you need to attend a meeting on Friday 4 March in L5.

1: China – July

There are still a small number of places available for the China trip in July. Cost is $2500 with highlights including Beijing, the Great Wall, the Terracotta Warriors in Xi’an, cultural exchange with Chinese students in Tai’an and Dongping, as well as a visit to our sister school in Shanghai and a day at the new Shanghai Disneyland. For further information on this trip contact Linda Lyons: lyons.linda@bssc.edu.au

2: France & Germany – Option A: 6 weeks – 3 December to 14 January

The first part of the trip will include historical and cultural visits in Zürich, Munich and Paris, and during the second part of the trip students will stay with host families in their country of choice (France or Germany) and go to the local high school with their host sister or brother. In Germany the towns will be Stockach and Radolfzell; in France it will be Cholet. This group will experience Christmas in Europe. Students who chose Option A (6 weeks) will return mid-January.

Highly recommended for French and German language students.

3: France & Germany – Option B: 3 weeks – 3 December to 22 December

The first part of the trip will include historical and cultural visits in Zürich, Munich and Paris.

Students who have chosen Option B (3 weeks) will return to Australia just before Christmas.

This option is ideal for students who don’t know any German or French.

For further details on each option and the Expression of Interest Form contact Marie Boulanger: boulanger.marie@bssc.edu.au or Kristina Dean: dean.kristina@bssc.edu.au

You’ll need to return the Expression of Interest form to the lunchtime Info Session in L5 (Language Centre) Friday 4 March – 1 pm.

Please make sure you have a parent signature and Advisor signature on the form. Full trip permission documentation and parent approval will be required once we have confirmed names of participating students.
