Meet our staff.
Explore the campus.
Be inspired by the widest subject choice in Victoria.
BSSC’s Open Day will showcase the widest range of Curriculum choices in the state, an amazing array of specialist programs, our state-of-the-art Ulumbarra facilities, and the many extra-curricular activities available to our students.
The foyer of the Ulumbarra Theatre will have expo-style displays where teachers from all subject areas will be on-hand to offer advice, and our Learning and Engagement Coordinators can talk through options for individual student programs.
A comprehensive information session with Principal, Linda Lyons, will be held in Ulumbarra Theatre at midday. Then you can get a feel for the school’s facilities and layout with tours led by present students and staff members.
So if you’re not sure about the differences between VCE, VCAL and VET—all will be revealed—and help sessions will give you all the information you need to enrol online for 2018.
If you have a disability or special support needs, BSSC caters for students with a range of individual needs, including those whose first language is not English—and those who are gifted in a particular area. Academically? A musician? An elite sportsperson? Yes, we’re well-equipped to cater for everyone.
La Trobe University and Bendigo TAFE will also be at Open Day showing students the links to further education or training courses.
Coffee and food will be available from the college café.
Students and their parents can expect to come away from Open Day with a clear idea about future pathway options and peace of mind about their transition to BSSC.
We look forward to welcoming you to our 2017 Open Day, 11am – 2pm, Sunday July 30.
