Today around 900 students participated in Orientation Day. These students, who will be commencing Year 11 at BSSC in 2019, packed in a full timetable of events and activities designed to make them feel at home, get connected, and be able to navigate the college.
And their experience?
“Everyone has been welcoming,” said Paris.
“And approachable,” added Olivia.
“The staff were really clear about what we had to do,” said Matt.
“It’s very inclusive. No one feels left out,” said Georiga.
And final word to Claudia: “It looks scary, but it’s not as scary as it looks!”
