Parents and students new to BSSC are invited to attend an information session, either on Monday 27 November or Tuesday 28 November at 7:00 pm in the Ulumbarra Theatre.
We recognise the important roles parents play during the final years of their child’s secondary education—so our parent/student information evenings are designed to provide parents with all the information they need to assist their child to make a smooth transition to BSSC.
At these sessions, along with information about issues directly related to the BSSC curriculum, each family will also receive an information pack detailing some of the co-curricular, travel and leadership opportunities available to our students.
Parents and students will also gain familiarity with the Compass Learning Management System. This includes how it is used by students, parents, and teachers to track and record student progress and attendance, and provide a communication portal between staff, students and parents. A demonstration of Compass, and how parents gain access to its resources, will be an important part of the evening.
