Bendigo’s beautiful Dudley House is currently showcasing the wonderful artwork of BSSC NETschool learners.

The exhibition is the culmination of deeply felt and thoughtful consideration of the theme Inner Worlds and finds expression in paintings, photographs, digital drawings, installations, fashion and mixed media artworks.

“Our inner world is personal and private,” says NETschool Mentor, Lee Fitzgibbon, “and learning how to cultivate it in a positive way, focusing on what brings us joy and meaning, is vital for our well-being.

“Each artist in the exhibition has interpreted the theme from their own perspective, and the resulting artworks are as individual and diverse as the learners themselves.”

From intricate drawings to a hand-crafted poetry book, this exhibition is wonderfully diverse and highlights “both the extraordinary creativity and resilience of each individual as they reflect upon their own experiences, feelings and hopes for the future,” Lee says.

Supported by the City of Greater Bendigo and a generous personal contribution by Lisa Chesters MP, Inner Worlds is open from 11am to 4:30pm daily, November 4th to 10th.
