Congratulations to Year 12 student, Megan Godfrey, on winning the student category of the Portrait Conference Photography Prize – a national prize with $2000 prize money. She has also been selected as one of the top 30 entrants in all categories and will have her work printed and displayed as part of the conference and is in the running for further prizes.

The Portrait Conference is made up of three events. The first being the online portrait competition, followed by a two-day conference and finishing with the judging of the print competition which involves the top 30 entrants in the competition. It is an annual, national photography competition for amateur, enthusiast and professional photographers alike. Many former winners have gone on to gain greater exposure and achieve international success.
