Are you a former student of Bendigo Senior Secondary College needing support with study expenses for 2016? The Mason Family Trust provides bursaries to former students to pursue a career or further study in the Arts including Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Music, Fashion, Photography, Media and Stained Glass or Art Glass.

BSSC Arts Coordinator Marcus Patching explained “The Mason Family Trust Arts Bursary is a wonderful opportunity to support our former students who are pursuing studies in the Arts. Since its inception, the college has received extremely high calibre applications that cover a wide variety of Arts disciplines and international Arts institutions.”

Bursaries have been awarded to students who attended the college as far back as 2000. BSSC has a proud history of extraordinarily high achievement in the arts and successful applicants are invited to share their knowledge and experiences through practical workshops to current BSSC Arts students.

The Trust makes available $30,000 per annum which will be used to support a number of applicants. There are two tiers of bursaries:

  • Amounts of up to $4000 for assistance with course fees and requisites.
  • Amounts over $4000 for assistance with accommodation, course fees and course requirements.

Application forms containing further information and selection criteria are available from the college website.
