With more than 25 stalls selling a range of take-away foods, hand-made products, and carnival games, BSSC Market Day once again raised much needed funds for local charities and organisations.
Students have been working on Market Day for many weeks as part of their curriculum, creating products such as mosaic artworks, preserves, jewellery, candles, plants, gift cards, badges, home-baked sweet treats and much more.
Food is always a big part of Market Day, and this year was no exception, with hot dogs, pizza, spring rolls, fruit salad, milkshakes and smoothies all on offer.
This year’s Market Day raised more than $3600 for a diverse range of organisations including the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, MND, Bendigo Foodshare, the Children’s Cancer Ward at Bendigo Health and Bendigo Animal Relief Centre.
