There were incredible aromas coming from the VCAL kitchen this morning as students continued their community project, working with BSSC staff and Caroline from Konjo Mama to create 50+ serves of lasagne to be distributed by Bendigo Foodshare.

With parsley and spring onions picked fresh from the VCAL garden, and other quality ingredients, the students produced tasty and nutritious meals for those in the wider community who are doing it tough.

There was such a great vibe in the kitchen.

As Student Support Staff member Matti Damijanic said, “the food has been made with love and laughter.”
