The amazing scent of chilli and spices wafted through the C-Block corridors at lunchtime today, as more than 20 students gathered in the VCAL kitchen for the third ‘Let’s Make Lunch’ session for Term 1.
Fresh and healthy Buddha bowls were the recipe of the day, with colourful ingredients such as chickpeas, sweet potato, kale, broccolini and tahini.
BSSC School Nurse, Alli Williams, said it was “fantastic to see such a diverse group of students enjoying each other’s company and preparing delicious, healthy food”.
Students won’t want to miss next week’s session, when Doner Kebab will be on the menu.
