Language Day is always a much anticipated part of BSSC’s Cultural Diversity week, and this year’s celebrations had the Language Centre jumping at lunchtime yesterday. The food was incredible, with German, French and Chinese delicacies in abundance, tempting every taste bud and presenting a great opportunity for students to practice some new language skills. Students also put their chopstick skills to the test (with the lure of sugar), tried their hands at Chinese calligraphy, and gave Auslan a try. The traditional French folk dancing was a great way to end a memorable celebration.
