This morning more than a hundred BSSC students had the opportunity to delve into courses and careers in Science, Health, Engineering and IT, when staff and students from La Trobe University took over D Block for a mini course expo.
It was a great chance for students to get a head start on their uni pathway—ask the lecturers themselves what various courses have to offer—find out more about the application process, as well as the many scholarships and other opportunities available.
La Trobe student representatives from the Schools Partnership Program were also on hand to chat about everything from timely applications, ATAR scores and their own first-hand experiences of uni life.
