BSSC’s language centre was transformed into a party venue on Wednesday night as BSSC’s international program hosted a Christmas dinner for staff, international students and their homestay families.
Assistant Principal Linda Lyons and the Chinese language teachers hosted the event that enabled our international students to enjoy a traditional Australian Christmas dinner and delicious desserts before returning to China. There was also Christmas cake and carols to get everyone in the spirit.
An entertaining photo story of the year’s events and activities presented by Juncai Lin elicited many gasps and laughs from crowd.
Principal Dale Pearce thanked the homestay families who host international students while they study at the college.
“Your assistance in welcoming the students and helping them adjust to the local culture is invaluable,” he said.
