Indigenous students from BSSC have been working with La Trobe University Creative Arts students Troy Firebrace and Janet Bromley to create this stunning mural at the Bendigo campus.
Thursday’s launch began with a traditional smoking ceremony and was a celebration of both Indigenous culture and creativity.
“For me, this mural is a celebration,” said Indigenous student services officer Mishel McMahon. She spoke of the pride within the Indigenous unit and of wanting to present that for all to see.
The artwork is a must-see at the end of the Engineering building.
