BSSC is a place where all students and staff are included and valued, and where harassment and discrimination have no place.
Today, our newest group of Inclusion Ambassadors were trained in a half-day program that informed the students on a whole range of diversity issues and empowered them to become advocates for inclusivity in their community.
The BSSC Inclusion Ambassador program was established to help promote and celebrate the diversity within the college and to allow our community to better understand the experiences students and staff have in their everyday lives.
Today’s session included presentations around LGBTI students, those from refugee backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, those with medical and mental health issues, disability, and International students.
Congratulations to all the students who chose to undertake this important training.
