The Gene Technology Access Centre (GTAC) ran a series of workshops at the college this week for Unit 3 & 4 Biology students, to provide them with insights and experiences, along with the tools and techniques used for DNA manipulation. Students are learnt first-hand about the Human papillomavirus (HPV), restriction enzymes and gel electrophoresis.
