BSSC will be buzzing with action next week as staff and students get into ParticipACTION Week.
On Tuesday and Wednesday there will be auditions for “Get your act together – BSSC’s got talent”.
Wednesday’s “Speed Dating with the Pollies” will offer undecided first time voters insight into the policies of four of the major political parties and their local candidates, while lunchtime offers many opportunities to try something new. Have a go at creating world records, table tennis, juggling, board games or performing poetry.
Thursday lunchtime heralds more world record attempts and the annual staff v student netball game in the gym or cane ball in the plaza. Traditional dancing table tennis and drumming will also be on offer in the plaza.
Friday lunchtime sees the finale to the week – BSSC’s got Talent. Those who make it through the auditions will bring the Ulumbarra theatre to life competing for one of BSSC’s most coveted prizes. Expect a wonderful showcase of student talent.
Be in the audience to cheer the performers on. This is one of the most popular student events in the college year.
