When is the college open?

The college will be closed from 2.30 p.m. on Friday 17 December and the general office will open again at 9.00 a.m. on Monday 10 January. The college phone line 5443 1222 will be open right through the holiday period and you can leave a message at any time. Messages are checked regularly during this time.

 

When will I receive information about arrangements for the start of 2022?

Information will be sent to family email addresses in the week commencing Monday 17 January or sent in hard copy to mail addresses where this has been requested. This will contain information about

  • Student’s Advisors Teachers for 2022 and their Advisor room
  • Blast Off interviews and how to book them
  • First day of classes for 2022

When do I get my 2022 timetable?

2022 timetables will be available to view in Compass from 17 January.

 

What are Blast Off interviews and when do they occur?

Blast Off interviews involve parents/carers and students in a 30-minute session with their Advisor to share important information for the 2022 school year. Blast Off interviews occur on

  • Monday 31 January between 11.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m.
  • Tuesday 1 February between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m.
  • Wednesday 2 February between 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.

 

Families need to book a time for their interview via Compass. Instructions on how to book will be in the email or letter sent to families in the week of 17 January.

 

When do classes start in 2022?

Classes start on Thursday 3 February.

 

Where do I get booklist information?

You may also join the “BSSC Second-hand books” group on Facebook, to source as many materials as possible second hand.  Please ensure that you check for the correct edition.

 

What do I do if I can’t access Compass?

Students who were at BSSC in 2021 will use the same Compass login details in 2022. Students who are new to the college in 2022 were given Compass login details during our orientation program in late November. If you were not here during orientation, have forgotten your login credentials or need help to log in to Compass you will need to contact the college on 5443 1222 after 24 January and ask to speak to someone on the ICT Help Desk.

 

How do I enrol at BSSC for 2022?

All enrolment enquiries should be emailed to enrolments@bssc.edu.au , alternatively you can ring the college on (03) 5443 1222 at any time during the school holidays. Please a message if needed.
