Have you thought about what it would be like to live overseas for an extended period of time on your own?
Are you interested in learning about a different culture and making some new friends with students from a different cultural background? Meeting an overseas student who has just enrolled at our college will help you find out what it is like to live in another culture and country away from family and friends.
Just a few days ago, our college welcomed 14 new Chinese international students. They are commencing their Intensive English Language course before starting Year 11 study next year.
We are inviting BSSC students to be part of the First Friend Program and to become a first local friend for our new international students.
The First Friend Program will see you learning from each other’s culture and sharing experiences through different activities such as going on an excursion, having a family meal together, teaching each other some language, playing sport etc.
