More than 130 primary students from 17 local schools filled BSSC’s Language Centre on Tuesday when the Confucius Classroom hosted a day of cultural exchange, creativity, fun and learning.

Students from Crusoe College and Bendigo South East assisted the Confucius Classroom teachers to run activities including food tasting, chopstick skills, a trivia competition, three-legged races, musical chairs and decorating boomerangs.

Visiting students from Suzhou China also joined in the activities. After the morning’s activities, students and staff headed down to Rosalind Park where a delicious lunch and perfect spring sunshine capped off a great day of sharing and learning.
