Places are filling fast in the “CBA Partner a Class” program being offered to Year 11 students studying commerce subjects in 2017.
BSSC and the Commonwealth Bank are offering the “Partner a Class” program, with CBA providing mentoring and training to Business and Commerce Students across a range of subjects.
The aim of the program is to provide business experiences and practical hands-on lessons that compliment classroom theory and challenge students to think beyond their own environment and circles of influence.
Year 11 students will be coached over an 18-month period by experienced CBA senior executives working in CommSec, Human Resources, Business Finance and Lending and Marketing.
Students will learn how to present in a business environment, work in teams to complete business assignments, and undergo coaching to provide job interview experiences. Activities will be conducted in class and at CBA offices.
The program has run for six years in Sydney and provides a certificate of completion for student resumes. There is no additional cost involved and commitment is essential.
