Everyone was there—from The Mad Hatter to Bill and Ben the flowerpot men. Yes, it was the final day for Year 12s at BSSC and what a wonderful celebration everyone enjoyed.
Staff and students in a dazzling array of fancy dress brought the Ulumbarra Theatre and its precincts alive.
With most students sitting their first exam in just a week, the chance to all be together for a final burst of fun—with the help of a DJ, Zone games and food galore—was something no-one wanted to miss.
Principal, Dale Pearce, praised the students both for their exemplary behavior and the enthusiasm with which they entered into the spirit of the day. A huge roar from the Class of 2018 almost raised the roof when he said: “Year 12, you are dismissed.”
