Sue James joined Year 11 Studio Art Ceramics students this morning and taught a number of techniques valuable for the ‘Taste of SACs’ task.
She also brought along some of her own work for students to view.
“I want to show students that you can make a living out of ceramics—being a potter is a career option,” she says.
From the students’ point of view, the time with Sue gave them a valuable insight into techniques and creative possibilities as well as consideration that working with clay can be a career choice.
