Got a brilliant short film looking for a screening? Then Eaglehawk Dahlia and Arts Festival wants to hear from YOU. Four short films will be selected for screening at the opening of the festival at Star Cinema on Wednesday 15 March. Successful filmmakers will be awarded $250 at that event.
The theme of the festival this year is ‘Carnivale’ and preference will be given to films that reference this (However artistic interpretation could even stretch to the Rio Olympics!).
Those who were in Years 10, 11 or 12 in 2016 are eligible to enter a PG or open classified movie of no more than five minutes in length and must submit their film by Friday 24 February at 4 pm.
