Students in the CBA Partner a Class program stepped out of their comfort zone today, attending interviews with CommBank executives at the bank’s head office in Collins Street, Melbourne.
Having been given position descriptions for hypothetical roles at the bank the students were interviewed then received feedback from executives about their performance—what they did well, and how they could improve.
“It was an amazing opportunity for students to be mentored by executives of the bank,” teacher Matt Kellow said. “They’ll take the learning from this experience into every job interview they have in the future.”
The students also heard from Adam Webb, an Executive Manager at CBA in the area of Wealth, who spoke about career aspirations and pathways.
They celebrated their achievement with a pizza lunch at Docklands.
