BSSC VET Animal Care students had the opportunity to get up close and personal with a wide variety of Australian wildlife when Wild Action mobile zoo visited the Coolock Trade Training Centre. The exhibits included reptiles, birds and mammals.
Students are currently working on individual projects focussed on a particular native animal.
The incursion gave students the opportunity to learn more about each animal, ask questions and strengthen their knowledge of their chosen species.
The experience also allowed students to build their confidence in interacting with wildlife and understanding the importance of protecting biodiversity.
