Students from Jamie Le Rossignol’s VET Information Technology & Game Development class recently attended the Get Into Games Expo in Ballarat.

The event highlights the potential career options available within the gaming industry, and exposes the transferability of these skills to other industries. There is a big focus on having fun!

The expo featured a main stage area where speakers from the gaming industry and Federation University Australia presented to students, with areas set up for gaming activities during breaks. These included virtual reality, the latest PC games and retro games. Sponsors also had exhibition booths to provide information about potential career paths and study options for students.
