Our visiting exchange students from Institution Saint Louis in Saumur in France were farewelled today at a special lunch in the Language Centre attended by their host siblings, BSSC Language students and staff, and Principal Dale Pearce.
The students gave a presentation about their school life back in Saumur, highlighting the differences in curriculums between the two countries, the prerequisites for university, and what a typical school week is like for them.
Dale Pearce thanked the students for visiting the college and said it had been a great learning experience for everyone involved.
“I hope it’s been a fun and inspiring time for all of you and that you’re heading home tomorrow with wonderful memories.”
They were then presented with a souvenir bag by their host siblings before taking a tour of the Ulumbarra Theatre complex.
Tomorrow the students will farewell their host families before heading to the airport for their journey home. We wish you all a safe journey.
