The BSSC Ally network was last night awarded the ‘Pride Inclusion Initiative of the Year’ at the 2019 Victorian Public Sector Pride Awards.
Assistant Principal, Kylie Hand, and Wellbeing Coordinator, Jess Neale, accepted the award on behalf of the 50+ BSSC staff who have trained as Allies.
The BSSC Ally network was established in 2017 to increase the inclusivity of LGBTI staff and students at the college and ensure students can access a trusted ally and safe environment if the need arises.
