Zonta Birthing Kits provide a clean and safe birthing environment for women without access to professional medical care. The lives of thousands of women and babies in third world countries have been saved through this project. The kits contain six basic items: a plastic sheet, soap, two gloves, sterile scalpel blade, three cords and five gauze squares. As a volunteer, you’ll assemble these items into small bags, meet lots of other caring, like-minded people, and do your bit to save the lives of women and children.
