Year 12 student Amy Mills is completing a week of work placement at Healthy Pets Veterinary Clinic.
As well as having the chance to walk dogs and pat lots of animals—like the cute kittens pictured—Amy was able to watch surgeries.
“I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to handle it,” she said, but I’ve actually surprised myself and find it really cool.”
Staff at the clinic said, “Amy is a delight and we’ve loved having her.”
