Students from Kendall O’Sullivan’s and Cazz Pysing’s Senior Senior VCAL PDWRS classes have been working with Haven Home Safe, learning about the issue of homelessness, particularly in the Bendigo area. They’ve learnt just how difficult the winter months can be and the affect it can have on the health and wellbeing of an individual.
As a result, they are collecting donations for Haven to distribute to those most in need. You can help them by donating clean, warm clothing such as jackets, jumpers, beanies, scarves and gloves.
Please check your wardrobes, and if you have any suitable items, they can be placed in the drop off box in the college library. Alternatively, email Kendall or Cazz and a class member will collect them from you. There’s just a two-week window for donations, so let’s all get busy and gather our winter woollies!
