BSSC is proud to announce that the Ulumbarra Theatre project won the Best School Project above $5 million at the 2017 Victorian School Design Awards.
These awards, judged across seven categories, were announced earlier this week and recognised excellence in design, and the importance of architecture to interior and exterior environments and sustainability, in learning and teaching spaces.
Congratulations to Matt Dwyer and the team at Y2 Architecture and all those who had the vision to make such a project happen, including BSSC Principal Dale Pearce and former City of Greater Bendigo Director Stan Liacos.
We’re so lucky to have these outstanding facilities at our college. They provide students, staff and the wider community with bespoke teaching spaces, unique venues for dance, drama and music, and state-of-the-art hospitality studies housed in Ulumbarra’s commercial kitchens.
