2025 BSSC alumna, Ella Honey, has been selected to perform in Top Class Music and Sound 2026—an amazing honour for our recent graduate.
Top Class is an annual concert series presented by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) showcasing outstanding performances by VCE and VCE VET students from schools across the state.
“I was pleasantly surprised by the news,” says Ella. “It felt like a recognition of all the work and energy I put into my composition and subject as a whole.”
“I appreciate my teacher, Jacquie Tolhurst, for pushing me beyond my perceived limits and encouraging me to continue to expand on all aspects of my performance and composition.”
Ella—one of 48 students selected to perform—will sing an original piece titled ‘Dandelions’ at the event in March.
“I look forward to performing in the beautiful Melbourne Recital Centre along with other hardworking music students!”
