EAL Intensive student, Thein Soe, got some hands-on experience working in retail today, as she joined local business owner, Georgie, at Pink Honey in View Street.
The BSSC student has been in Australia since March 2024 and was keen to work on her English and other skills as she immersed herself in the world of small business—and, in particular, the world of fashion.
“I have been greeting customers, getting the store pretty, changing mannequins and modelling,” says Thein Soe. “I loved my morning at Pink Honey.”
If you’re a local business owner who can support our EAL students with work experience opportunities, we would love to hear from you.
Thank you to Georgie at Pink Honey for supporting Thein Soe today.
