Staff at BSSC are involved in all manner of events outside of school hours to further opportunities for students and promote the college in the wider community.
VET Digital Media teacher, Jamie Le Rossignol, recently presented at the City of Greater Bendigo Creative Conversations Showcase at Bendigo Pottery, putting the work of VET Digital Media and VCE Media students in the spotlight.
The presentation included work by five students across photography, animation and video.
“The evening was an eclectic mix of the arts in Bendigo,” Jamie said, “and a great opportunity to showcase BSSC’s up and coming creatives to a wider audience.”
The event also included a panel discussion about how to make Bendigo an even more creative city, featuring musician Clare Bowditch, visual arts director Esther Anatolitis, creative producer Ros Abercrombie, entrepreneur David Eedle and Head of Creative Arts at Deakin Professor Matthew Allen.
