The 2016 BSSC Student Council has a leadership and training day on Tuesday 16 February. Students will take part in fun and challenging leadership activities and choose the Student Council leaders for 2016.

The training begins at 9 am in James King Hall and is conducted by Second Strike Training. Students will undertake leadership activities and develop skills such as running effective meetings and goal setting for the year.

During the day, students who are interested in fulfilling a leadership role on council will have the chance to talk about their goals for 2016 and explain why they would like to be elected,

Student Council coordinator Travis Matheson said it would be a fun day.

“I am looking forward to working with the fantastic bunch of leaders within the college and developing everyone’s skills.”
