AFL Premier League v Lilydale HS

Our boys have kept their finals chances alive following a good win against Lilydale High School in the second round of the SSV AFL Premier League competition. Lilydale started the match very well and had a goal on the board inside the first few minutes, but the BSSC boys settled quickly, kicking the next five goals to go into the quarter-time break with a handy 25-point lead. The match was hard fought throughout, but BSSC were more organised in defence, and proved to be more efficient with their disposal. They gradually extended the lead at each change and at the final siren the margin was 73 points.
